The Shinkansen Series E6 Nanoblock kit recreates Japan’s sleek red-and-white “Komachi” bullet train, known for its long aerodynamic nose and compact high-speed profile. The real E6 entered service in 2013 on the Akita Shinkansen, where it runs through both dedicated high-speed lines and narrower conventional rail sections. Its distinctive styling was designed by industrial designer Ken Okuyama, whose work gives the train a sharp, modern look inspired by Akita’s cultural identity. This kit captures the train’s streamlined shape and bold color scheme in miniature block form.
