Build Japan’s iconic Great Buddha of Kamakura, a monumental bronze statue that has watched over Kotoku-in temple since the 13th century. Known as the Kamakura Daibutsu, the real statue stands about 11.3 meters tall and depicts Amida Buddha seated in meditation. It once sat inside a large temple hall, but storms and other disasters destroyed the building, leaving the Buddha in the open air as it is seen today.
