This Nanoblock kit builds a bright red popeyed goldfish, complete with translucent fins and the breed’s signature protruding eyes. Popeye, or telescope-eye, goldfish are ornamental varieties developed from domesticated carp and have been selectively bred for their rounded bodies, vivid colors, and dramatic eye shape. Their delicate eyes make them slower and more vulnerable than many other goldfish, which is why they are often kept with similarly gentle tankmates. The compact Nanoblock design captures the fish’s playful, floating look in miniature form.
