This Nanoblock Small Clawed Otter kit captures the compact body, rounded face, and dark brown coloring of the world’s smallest otter species. Small-clawed otters are native to wetlands, mangroves, and river systems across South and Southeast Asia, where they use their sensitive, dexterous paws to search for crabs, mollusks, and small aquatic prey. Unlike many otters, their claws are short and do not extend far past their paw pads, giving them especially nimble “hands.” The finished model makes a playful tribute to this social, vocal, and highly curious animal.
